This July marked a big milestone for us — our first time exhibiting at the iconic Great Yorkshire Show, and what an unforgettable few days it was!

From 9th to 12th July 2024, we joined hundreds of other businesses at one of the UK’s largest and most loved agricultural events. Now in its 165th year, the Great Yorkshire Show is not just a trade event — it’s a celebration of everything that makes the countryside great, from livestock and land management to food, family, and innovation.

As first-time exhibitors, we didn’t quite know what to expect. But from the moment we set up, we were made to feel right at home by the incredible visitors, neighbouring traders, and the wider farming community.

Bringing Containers to the Countryside

At our stand, we showcased three of our popular container options:

A 20ft ‘one trip’ container — brand new and perfect for larger-scale needs
An 8ft new build — compact but incredibly versatile
And a 6ft new build — our smallest unit, ideal for tight spots or lighter storage

It was great to see so many people stop by with questions, ideas, and genuine curiosity. We spoke to farmers looking for secure storage for tools and machinery, families thinking about converting containers for rural projects, and even hobbyists dreaming up creative new uses.

A Bit of Fun (and Balloons!)

We also added a bit of playful competition to our stand — a guessing game where people tried to figure out how many balloons we’d crammed into our 6ft container. It started as something to keep the kids entertained while the grown-ups chatted, but it quickly turned into a hit with visitors of all ages!

Immersed in Agricultural Excellence

What really stood out to us was the sense of pride and passion in the farming community. From the early morning livestock parades to the electric energy of the main ring events and everything in between, the show was a wonderful reminder of just how vital and vibrant the UK’s agricultural sector is.

We saw champion animals, watched thrilling show jumping displays, and even challenged ourselves to the now-famous Heck Sausage overhead hold (with varying levels of success!).

It was also a brilliant opportunity to connect with fellow exhibitors from all sorts of industries — from food and farming equipment to crafts, clothing, and countryside services. The conversations we had were warm, insightful, and inspiring.

Exhibiting at the Great Yorkshire Show 2024 was an absolute highlight for our team. We came away tired, happy, and already buzzing with ideas for next year.
