Our First Time at the Great Yorkshire Show – And What a Show It Was!
In July 2024, we had the pleasure of exhibiting at our very first Great Yorkshire Show – and what an incredible experience it was! From the moment the gates opened on 9th July through to the final day on the 12th, we were blown away by the sheer scale of the event, the warm welcome from visitors, and the buzz that filled the showground every single day.
As one of the UK’s biggest agricultural trade shows, now in its impressive 165th year, the Great Yorkshire Show is a true celebration of rural life. It brings together thousands of people from across the country – farmers, growers, makers, and innovators – all united by a shared passion for the land and the communities that thrive on it.
We were thrilled to be part of that mix, showcasing a small but mighty selection of our container range, a 20ft ‘one trip’ container, brand new and ready for action, an 8ft new build container, ideal for tighter spaces and a 6ft new build container, compact and versatile
It was fantastic to see how much interest there was in our containers, especially from those in the farming community looking for secure, practical solutions for everything from equipment storage to feed sheds and mobile workshops. The versatility of containers really came into its own, with conversations covering an impressive range of uses!
Of course, we didn’t forget to bring a bit of fun to the stand. Our balloon guessing game – where visitors guessed how many balloons were packed into our 6ft container – was meant to entertain the kids, but we quickly found that parents and grandparents were just as eager to join in. It brought plenty of smiles and a little friendly competition!
Every member of our team loved being at the show. When we weren’t chatting with visitors, we took time to explore the event ourselves. From watching show jumping and livestock competitions to soaking up the energy in the main ring displays and even giving the Heck Sausage overhead hold challenge a go (with mixed results!), there was never a dull moment.
What really stood out to us was the spirit of the farming community. The pride in the animals, the craftsmanship on display, and the passion that came through in every conversation reminded us just how important and inspiring this industry is. We spoke with everyone from smallholders to large-scale farmers, and each story was a powerful reminder of the role agriculture plays in our everyday lives.
Being part of the Great Yorkshire Show was an unforgettable experience. The whole event was brilliantly organised, completely immersive, and full of heart. We’re incredibly proud to have taken part and to have connected with so many brilliant people across the four days.
We’re already looking forward to returning in 2025 – hopefully with even more to share!
