Our 20ft used shipping containers are typically 10–15 years old and have previously been used for international cargo transport.
As expected with used containers, they may show signs of their working life at sea, including dents, surface rust and faded paint. Some units may have professionally repaired areas.
All containers are supplied in very good used condition and remain structurally sound and suitable for secure storage.

Every 20ft used container is thoroughly inspected when it arrives at our Darlington A66 depot before being made available for sale.
All units are supplied as standard in wind and watertight condition, meaning they are protected against water ingress and weather exposure.

A 20ft used shipping container is built from heavy-duty steel and fitted with reinforced double doors and locking bars for strong on-site security.

We offer flexible delivery options depending on your requirements:
Single Container Delivery
Delivered using a rigid vehicle fitted with a HIAB crane, allowing us to offload and position the container safely on your site.
Multiple Container Delivery
Delivered via wagon and drag HIAB or artic HIAB vehicle for efficient transport of two or more containers.
Customer Offload Option
If you have suitable offloading equipment, we can deliver using an artic vehicle without a HIAB crane.
Collection from Depot
You can arrange collection directly from our Darlington A66 depot. We have loading facilities available and will load your container onto your haulier prior to release.

Delivery Options for a 20ft Used Shipping Container
We offer flexible delivery options for your 20ft used shipping container, depending on whether you are purchasing a single container or multiple units.
Delivery of a Single 20ft Used Container
The most popular delivery method for one 20ft used container is via a rigid vehicle fitted with a HIAB crane. This allows us to safely offload and position the container directly onto your prepared location at your site.
HIAB delivery is ideal if you do not have your own offloading equipment, as our driver will place the container in the agreed position, subject to suitable access and ground conditions.
Delivery of Multiple 20ft Used Containers
If you are purchasing two or more 20ft wind and watertight containers, we can deliver using:

A wagon and drag HIAB vehicle, or

An artic HIAB vehicle
Both options allow us to deliver multiple 20ft containers together efficiently, helping to reduce transport costs and delivery time.
Delivery Without HIAB (Customer Offload)
If you have suitable offloading facilities on site (such as a forklift or crane), we can deliver your 20ft used shipping container using an artic vehicle without a HIAB crane.
In this case, you will be responsible for safely offloading and positioning the container upon arrival.
Collection from Our Darlington Depot (A66)
You are also welcome to arrange your own collection from our Darlington A66 depot.
We have loading facilities on site and can load your 20ft used container onto your chosen haulier or transport vehicle. Once the container is securely loaded, it will be released from our depot for transport.
