Manufactured from a standard container (usually 20ft or 40ft) - but with double end doors at both ends. Typically the solid end of the container is simply cut-off and a new set of double doors is welded in place.
Full Side Access / Side Opening Containers are constructed from standard containers - one of the solid sides are removed and new bi-fold doors are welded in place to create an additional side door.
Typically constructed from standard 20ft or 40ft containers. The standard roof panel is removed to leave the three side panels, the floor, and the double end doors. A removable Hardened or Tarp roof can then be added/removed as required.
Flat Rack Containers are designed differently to standard boxes, they have 3 panels a floor and two hinged end panels. The end panels can also be folded flat for transportation and used as ramps whilst loading.
Built to DNV 2.7-1 Offshore Standards, Half Height containers are a built to last. They are constructed with an Open Top for easy loading and are half as tall as a Standard Steel Shipping Container.
Offshore DNV 2.7-1 containers are fabricated in the same way as normal units; but are constructed using a higher density, heavy duty corten steel, making them more durable and increasing their lifespan.
Reefers start out as standard 20ft or 40ft containers, they are then lined out on the inside and specialised flooring is added. A refrigeration unit is then installed that will allow the container's temperature to be changed/regulated.
Our new container stock is bought directly from our suppliers in the far east. New units are used on container ships for international shipping only once (on their initial journey to the UK). All new containers are still in excellent as-new condition, they are wind/watertight and will have only very minor cosmetic imperfections.
The new sales prices that our sales team are able to offer are calculated based on - your delivery location, your off-loading requirements, the number of units you need and the base container cost. The cost of new containers does fluctuate up and down, depending on local issues in the far east, over the past few years the cost of new containers has steadily increased - we do expect this to continue, so there is no better time to buy a new container.
Your Delivery Location - this will affect our delivery costs, we'll always try and keep delivery costs as low as possible but the cost will largely depend on the distance your location is from one of our depots.
Your Offloading Requirements - this will determine which type of vehicle we need to deliver your container on - if you can offload the container yourself when it arrives - it'll cost less!
The Number of Units you require - if you are looking to purchase more than one container our sales team may be able to offer you each container at a slightly reduced price as we may be able to reduce the delivery costs per unit.
The Base Container Cost - the price we are able to offer our customers largely comes down to the price at which we are able to bulk buy in our new containers. We always try and offer the lowest prices possible.
